MegaDiamond grade N90 is a high-content PCBN material specifically designed for extremely high abrasion resistance and toughness. N90 is an excellent general-purpose grade for applications ranging from roughing to finish-machining operations. Its high cBN content together with a high degree of inter-crystalline bonding and tough metallic binder provide N90 with an excellent combination of strength and wear resistance. This grade targets applications where mechanical abrasion is the primary wear mechanism.

Applications

N90 is an excellent choice for roughing and finishing applications in gray and hard cast irons, as well as powder metals.  This product is also well suited for heavy machining of hardened steels, as well as milling applications in tool and die steels.
